About The Artwork
Starting a painting always represents a colossal effort. It's my daily life that inspires me and provides me with ideas for each painting. I invariably start with a few hand sketches or a collage. I particularly appreciate the fusion of textures, colors and shapes. I systematically begin my work by creating the main shapes using the "punch needle" technique. I apply it directly to the blank canvas. After having prepared the main shapes, I tackle the preparation of the blank canvas from A to Z. I start by stretching a canvas on a frame, then I proceed to gluing and coating the canvas. Then, I immerse myself in painting, a moment that I particularly like. This is where I thrive the most, because it is a space without limits, where everything is possible.

Since my earliest childhood, I have always been guided by a passion for art, unconditionally supported by my family. In 2012, I completed my career at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Poland, obtaining my diploma. The same year, I also obtained a Fashion and Textile Designer diploma. Despite my years in the fashion world, I was still missing something essential. Thanks to my experiences in fashion, textiles and embroidery, I was able to rediscover painting from a new angle. This allowed me to dare to do things that I would never have considered some time ago. Sometimes it is necessary to take a break to accumulate experience, then leave with a different approach, unexpected freedom, fresh ideas and revisited techniques.
