Block Colour Collage X Painting

My newest series 'Block Colour Collages' are fashion magazine cut outs that I have painted onto in acrylic paint, outlined in silver or black pen and sometimes have cut out parts of the figure. I was influenced by Paul Klee, Mondrian and Pop Art but worked very intuitively when deciding on shapes and colour that piece together my fragmented figure compositions. I continue to be interested and inspired by the marriage between art and fashion and the women within it. After cutting out my painted figures, I've mounted them onto heavy weight cartridge paper, either a3 or a4 size, each piece signed.
