"Bloody batteries" is 1st of a two part body of work that speaks on the alarming issue of child labour accross mining sites in DR congo. millions of kids are having to engage informally in dangerous artisinal cobalt minings which are used to produce batteries consumed by the world at large. the piece gives voice to the situation while capturing the frustration of these kids and questions the viewer for a way forward.
