ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I paint to music. It allows me to get caught up in whatever emotion I am feeling in that moment. This painting, "Blue, Blue Windows Behind the Stars" is a line from "Helpless" by Neil Young. I painted it to a cover sung by Oregon Musician Jeff Kloetzel. We created a video of the live painting to live music as part of my "12 Months of Art and Music" series on my YouTube channel. This painting is variations of blues with a little bit of yellow and is acrylic, texture and sheet metal on panel. I hope that when you look at it music comes alive in your head.
