About The Artwork
This acrylic painting has a lot of texture. It is painted on paper. Image size 16.5" x 18". It is sold in a display mat that is 24.5" x 26" which shows you aprox. how large it will be when you frame it in a frame of your choice. I'm inspired by mid-century style, design, fabrics, atomic motifs, collectibles such as starburst clocks and architecture. Mid-century artist Mark Rothko and the beauty of simple horizontal landscapes also influence these paintings. Using these as jumping off points, I put my own spin on the artwork creating a painting that is simultaneously retro and timeless.
