Blue Mood Painting

When I paint flowers and trees, I do not try to represent the original exactly, but to express through them some meaning. That meaning sometimes is more explicit, sometimes less, deliberately encouraging the viewer’s free interpretation and letting each viewer to have a different personal experience in perception of my artworks. This painting was entitled "Blue Mood". The artwork "Blue Mood" is a textured and almost sculptural painting created in impasto technique using a palette knife, acrylic paint, and acrylic skin. The application of paint is thick and expressive, giving the painting a three-dimensional quality and tactile effect.
