Blue Mountains Painting

At the moment I live and work in the eastern part of The Netherlands. I used to live for many years in Rotterdam in the west of the Netherlands where I worked as a teacher of art. However, I was born in Papua New Guinea and my family and I moved to the Netherlands when I was 8 years old. I travelled a lot and landscapes are a source of inspiration for my work. For years I was mainly photographing the landscape and I still am. But the last years I more and more like to paint landscapes. My painted landscapes are more or less abstracted and sometimes surreal. My work is colourfull. I love to work with colours and during the proces of painting my colours change many times.
