My cork series is a statement of my Portuguese origins. It's a coming back to nature, to raw, to minimalism, to simplicity,... This is a one of a kind painting, an absolutely spontaneous, vibrant and unique creation by me, Carla Sá Fernandes. This high quality oil and acrylic painting is done on natural cork fabric (cork leather) stretched on a wood frame, gallery wrapped, with no need for framing, as the edges are on cork. You will receive it "ready to hang", with a hook on the back. It is an exquisite work of art, due to the effect of the natural cork. Really one of a kind! This painting has 1 iridescent color that may vary fom red to purple, depending on the light. Please see other photos provided. This painting is signed on the side and back and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. About cork:  it’s a 100% natural raw material, that is 100% reusable and 100% recyclable, extracted from cork oaks without harming the normal development of the species and without damaging the tree. The extracted cork is 100% harnessed.   the production of cork does not destroy trees.
