A palette of ultramarine blue, turquoise, and light blue acrylic paint were used to create "Blue Wonder" This painting is on stretched canvas and arrives wired and ready to hang. The 1.5 in. border is painted ultramarine blue. The painting is sealed and protected with satin varnish. My signature is on the lower right of the painting, and the title and date are on the back. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history.
