ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work Blue Blood Boula was painted after the restoration of St. Sebastian, which I did. Before the restoration work that I carried out, I studied the plot about this character. Suffering for faith, what could be even more sacred. St. Sebastia is today a symbol and patron saint of both sexual minorities and the military. This work contains the symbolism of a male nude body, a symbol of insecurity, arrows, an attribute of the military. There is a parallel between the strong and the weak, who is stronger in spirit or in body? Strength or Faith?

Tatar Valeriy Vasilievich, born in 1964 Ukraine, USSR. He began to paint since childhood. From 18 to 21 he served in the navy in the city of Leningrad. He worked in the art plant of the city of Donetsk and the city of Zhdanov Ukraine. He executed orders for monumental painting, mosaics, bas-relief. He wrote about 400 paintings and more than 500 drawings.Since 2014 I have been living in Austria.
