2011. Oil on board. The title speaks for itself. Anyone recognise the back buildings?... Not from a Bogart movie. I love the lighting in Film Noir. When I am painting something more original (ie not using old film stills), I am usually looking for the same contrasts and shadows, either with sunlight or theatre lights.
