About The Artwork
Bossington Village is not fa from Porlock where I lived for a number of years. It was the daily walk I shared with my family of sausage dogs, the bridge marking the path to Hurlestone Point. I painted the scene from memory and is an interpretation of how I perceived the energy of the 'pastoral scene.' I orginally had a photo to work from but the scene took shape from my imagination and memory rather than being a direct reproduction of the photo.
