This artwork is based on a segment of a book I recently loved, where a man takes time to sit with himself and examines his arms and hands and appreciates the power they give him, and all that has come from them. It lead me to think about what my hands can do, and create, and I wanted to depict this through my work

She paints subjects that offer a notion of familiarity, allowing viewers to recognise common and simple features, expressions or gestures.
