ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Look carefully into this painting. Not everything is as it seems! Under the waters surface is a threat of two predator fish looking up to take and eat the ducklings. It shows mumma duck trying to cover her ducklings from threats above where she thinks the danger is coming from. This is typical behavior that we as parents have! We instinctivley covering our little ones from where we think the danger is coming from! Often completely missing the mark. Living next to a lake where these birds live and nest. I witness the all too often disappearing of ducklings due to the big Pike that feed on them.
