Fine original art for sale by artist Jacob von Sternberg, JVS Titled: Breaking Boundaries JVS Collection: Tokyo Echoes Medium: Mixed Media in blue and black with gold pigments on original Belgium Flanders Heritage Canvas Size: 62.60 x 41.73 inches - 159x106cm - fully painted canvas size Story of this one-of-a-kind canvas painting: Breaking Boundaries! This original painting is created in my Tokyo Echoes style with which I begun my polytonal paintings. I started with this unique concept during my time in Japan, Tokyo, Yokohama and later continued my research in New York City, Boston and San Francisco. A time full of miracles, wonders and magic. I travelled the world in search for my family and never planned to make new friendships, meet the kindest people. The frequent meditations outside Yokohama in the zen garden of my friends were so unforgettable. Calm, tranquil, a Garden of Eden. It was a time of breaking boundaries. Every single, fine drip and every brushstroke was placed in a very sensitive way caressing the canvas. My canvases and paint are professional grade and are made using only the highest quality materials. Like all my large abstracts the canvas is painted completely for your advantage and for extra high quality aesthetics. If you would like to see what this painting would look like on you wall you can send me a photograph of your living room, dinning room or every ever you would like to hang the painting and I can do a mock up for you. Just make sure that the photo has good light and is taken from a straight on viewpoint. () Paintings are signed and dated only on the back of the canvas. If you wish to have a signature on the front as well, please let me know prior to it being shipped out or pick up from the artist gallery. If you have any questions, please let me know, I'm happy to answer them. Customer service is important to me so please let me know if there is any other way that I can assist you. What remains is the love and kindness in my heart, which I cherish like a treasure. Whatever happens in life, the beat of our hearts decides the path. The essence of unity is reflected in my art. I travelled the world in search of my family and eventually achieved the healing of generations through my relentless search and longing to reunite my family on two continents. By nature I am actually rather shy and very sensitive. I love to support others. Love to speak about unity, about love, and all the wonders I witnessed on my journey around the world. I am grateful you are interested in my work. Art is my life. My work features small, medium, large and also extra large scale paintings on a very wide variety of surfaces. I use canvas, paper, wood, and several nonconventional surfaces such as time worn wood, vintage papers, and antique textiles, and metal findings that I have collected over the years during my travels. I often paint with tools that I have developed myself or use unconventional ones. At times I refuse to use brushes and painter's knives and use only things from everyday life in an adapted form to create my art. My sculptural works feature beach wood, textile surfaces in combination with colored resin, and a selection of antique findings.
