"Brighten my northern sky" Painting

I build sculptural layers of paint, combining different mediums to create textured, rounded forms. Each piece has a playful, almost object-like presence, inviting closer inspection. As in my earlier work, the material guides me—pushed, shaped, and layered until it finds its own rhythm. My abstract, colorful paintings are inspired by nature, movement, and the subtle poetry of everyday life. I am drawn to weathered surfaces and organic forms shaped by time, which influence both the textures and shapes in my work.

Working intuitively with stains, acrylic paint, water, and mixed materials allows me to let go of control and create freely. Each painting evolves until harmony is found, becoming a reflection of my inner world and my environment—constantly moving and transforming. I hope the viewer experiences a sense of joy, lightness, and playfulness, while being drawn into the textures, forms, and colors. The works are meant to stimulate the senses, evoke memories, and offer a moment of reflection—a space where the imagination can wander freely and emotions can connect to the material presence of the work
