This painting represents generations of women, in my family, in many peoples families and worldwide, who have been creative, resiliant, and rooted, despite the era they were living. It is a tribute to future generations who are innovative, brave and brilliant. I use textiles and incorporate weaves into my painting; a medium used by women all over the world.
