About The Artwork

“Briscola” is the name of the Italian playing cards. The painting stands for femininity, message: you can also wear the most feminine, delicate pink princess dress, if you stand by your femininity, you will win one way or another. The mask is the first Venetian mask that existed, women wore it to the balls and could not speak with it because it was held by a button in their mouths. If a man got her interested in him, she removed the mask and he was allowed to hear her voice.
