CITY BOY Painting

Welcome to my site. The work here is about being useful and productive while creating a diverse collection of unique abstract paintings. My idea is to create images that do not exist. Create something new that will offer me personal satisfaction and that may also stimulate conversation. The idea is to prod imagination. Infiltrate thinking and force a perspective that may not have previously existed.  The painting start with: “What do I dare do?” Start with random nothingness and depart into whatever can create an a satisfying image.  Ultimately I hope the work can serve  as inspiration and motivation for others to maybe try their hand at creating. - Karl Greaves Virginia Beach Artist
