ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In the "Calathea" painting is everything I like. Sleeping, Calathea leaves and beautiful, feminine silhouette. I imagine a calm, deep sleep when I look at it. Nature which surrounds a woman is an element of a dream. I've always liked falling asleep in nature and that's why I decided to create a painting that will reflect how I feel then. Calathea Orbifolia is a plant I can admire for hours. Her leaves remind me of a majestic, puffy dress in the haute couture style. I'm sure you'll still be able to see it in some of my paintings. It's a pity that it doesn't grow in Polish forests. - The edges of the painting are painted white. - The entire surface has a matt finish. - My signature is on the front and reverse side of the canvas.

Hello! I’m Ewelina Czarniecka. Since middle school, my close ones have called me "effe." I’m a painter and a graphic designer. I learned about painting skills from my grandfather and father. I gained my creative soul at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Later I enriched it with strong graphics knowledge while studying at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. While I’m painting I focus on things that improve my mood: strong colors, contrasts, women with distinctive character and shapes and nature.
