About The Artwork
This is my version of a view of 1980's New York City- at Broadway & Canal Street. I was inspired to paint this as struck by the colour & vibrancy of the scene. I have always been fascinated by Manhattan- even though I'm yet to visit! Painted wet onto dry- in stages. Hopefully, the viewer will be excited by my work. I painted in acrylic as gives me lots of control & is smell free. I chose to paint it in a realistic style as enjoy that- adding as much detail as possible.
