The social system and the capitalism get us ready to think like machines, to act like them. Human alienation regarding to their education, regarding to their jobs. The artwork tries to show that emotional state that everyday become more common between us. An “emotional limbo” where every human being tries to reconnect with himself; to listen her/him inner voice. That moment of entasis that leads you towards a splendid mental state; or even leads to inspiration. The artwork at the same time that tries to show that mental state, also tries to display the urban character and aesthetics from Malasaña neighbourhood as well as the people who inhabit it. A perfect place to see how the limits between pop and underground become invisible. The figure is introduced as a contemporary reinterpretation of the heroin who gives this neighbourhood its name, Manuela Malasaña. Part 3/6.
