Carboard Love Painting

Many homeless people are harshly regarded as cardboard people (meaning unwanted & disposable). Yet, as I observe, I observe these are legitamate members of our communities who are not dispossable, just house-less. In the Painting, a group of house-less men are hang-out in cold weather & console each other on a street corner. False promises of streets paved w/ flowers and nice carpets are all around. Gov. bldgs. & street signage express dissbelieve & repulsion, yet, the men go on truly carining for one another's need and concerns. I, as a new American never expected to see such dissapointing, tragic & crushed promises for some here in our promised land.
