This is a landscape adapted from what I saw hiking in Cathedral Lakes Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada. This is a view from a trail high in the alpine reached after a full day hike. I wanted to capture the color and the progressive retreat of the landscape into the distance. I've accentuated the color for effect.
