ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This simple graphic painting is inspired by the rudimentary nature of cave paintings and the idea of contemporary people scrawling motifs from their life onto the walls around them. I imagined this coming from a sun baked country. I have used layering and a reduced and muted colour palette and focussed on simplicity and immediacy in the painting.
