ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This chimeral figurative portrait of a man with a horse’s head is drawn in charcoal and graphite on wood and finished with a translucent acrylic glaze which nearly obscures the details, removing the viewer just a step. A final heat process created the small pits in the glaze to accentuate the outline of the form to create a mythic, dreamlike image. Framed size: 7.75" x 9.75" x 1.25"
