About The Artwork
Cherry blossom tree in front of white house. Acrylic base, covered with oil impasto on top. As a child I had a special place in the woods I called "dreamland" a small clearing of trees made way for an abundance of wildflowers. Anyone passing through would feel completely overtaken and enveloped by the flowers and fauna, especially as a child. This is one of a few paintings inspired by this place and time in my childhood.
