My work is about the subconscious connection between dyslexia, learning and doodling with much of my inspiration coming from the natural world and the patterns that occur in our environment. As a child, I was diagnosed with pretty severe dyslexia. For a long time, my doodles have become a coping mechanism and now they have developed into really detailed and stimulating works of art. After finishing a piece, like seeing shapes in the clouds, I normally see things like animals and objects within the artwork. This is how I name most of the works. My process is extremely fluid and free with minimal planning which is all part of the subconscious kinetic learning message. Here, the first thing I saw was a chicken with a looney tunes undertone. I am inspired by surrealist and abstract greats such as Joan Miró, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee and Yayoi Kusama.

I am a full-time artist and photographer living in Pulham Market, Norfolk, UK. I have an inherently creative soul and grew up with artistic role models from a very young age. I studied a foundation in art and design at University College Falmouth and a degree in press and editorial photography at Falmouth University. After graduating I went on to work in photojournalism before finding my path back into art in 2016. I am now focused on producing my collection of abstract paintings and commissioned pieces with lots of colour and organic shapes alongside my line drawings.
