Expressive piece inspired by the sky and its sweeping, constantly changing cloud formations. Colour note: The blues all come from the same pigment (Pthalocyanine Blue) and range in colour from dusky baby blues to rich deep blues similar to RAL* 5017 (Verkehrsblau) and RAL 5010 (Enzianblau). The darker brush-strokes show as a metallic pink/purple or a dark, almost black colour in the right light. This is a fun quirk of the pigment. Painted on a canvas-board. **This painting is unframed and is not ready to hang.** I recommend professional framing for the best finish but for reference (in case you prefer to order a frame online), the size of this canvas board is UK A3. I have found framing to be surprisingly affordable (here in Staffordshire), ranging from £20 to £50 depending on the finish which is required, whether a matt/glass is to be used etc. If you're based in London then I can recommend Jackson's Art for framing, they're brilliant. *The RAL system is a colour index commonly used for commercial paint, powder coat etc. I come across it a lot in painting & decorating shops.
