Cielo Rojo Painting

There is always a raison d'être, a reflection and sometimes an inexplicable but necessary need. A restlessness, in my research on patriarchy, feminism and my incision in the health of the masculine, to avoid machismo and toxic masculinity, it is obvious that this cactus in its form recalls that attraction-rejection, exciting masculine beauty, sometimes spicy and pungent. By the way, this cactus was in the autumn of 2017 all over Lugano, the city where I live after my childhood, on the occasion of one of my exhibitions there, there were art critics who told me that it was a prophetic cactus! because in that time they had killed one of those who went to shoot "narcos" (netflix) precisely in the place where that cactus is! It is one of my best and most coveted canvases, on several occasions there were people who wanted to buy it, but they still haven't made up their minds, for the time being it is still here ready to shine in some special space. And like all works of art, it is a thousand times better live!
