Coastal Clouds Painting

Acrylic and chalk on canvas This was a slightly different technique for me with bigger bolder brushstrokes , I really enjoyed being free to express , A looser feeling with my painting and always a joy to paint large scale ... my absolute favourite. I had the ocean and coastline in mind when painting this one , the salty air and stiff breeze of the Yorkshire coast , the clouds and the magic of nature. I think it’s serene yet powerful and would fit with most settings , modern or traditional, It arrives ready to hang , frameless but would look great framed also Signed and dated by the artist All artwork protected by copyright About the Artist Linda Karslake Linda says .. “I have always painted ever since I can remember , I was born in Leeds where I attended private art school and went on to win a National painting competition at the age of 14 , This spurred me on to continue with my Art and now I feel incredibly blessed to be able to paint for a living . I paint on canvas but furniture too and take my inspiration from nature mostly , amazing sunsets and sunrise , water , sun , clouds , rain , I also have a thing for rust and weather beaten wood and the incredible texture and colours time produces.
