This work belongs to my series "Gravity". This series is inspired by poems of Tagore and his subtle form of cosmic perception. I try to catch the light I see in my garden and turning it into mixed shapes and colours ignoring figurative details, capturing only the sensory and emotional moments at different hours of the day. The technique is acrylic pigments based on casein and casein glue diluted and applied in layers on a canvas cotton duck. The painting is signed by both sides and also with certificate of authenticity signed by the author.

Annabel Andrews was born in the Isle of Wight in 1940 now lives and works in El Escorial near Madrid Spain, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work. As also her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo and Jose Guerrero. By preparing her own canvases with home made casein glue base and zinc white the work is light and luminous ready for applying acrylic colours.
