HEES is an American self taught contemporary artist whose works specializes in themes that address life’s three great intentions, health, wealth and happiness. Born in 1962 in Corpus Christi ,Texas HEES began his career as a painter, make up artist, photographer, graphic designer, brand consultant and producer during his 30 year career in beauty and photography. He has worked with some of the worlds biggest brand such as Ralph Lauren, Belk, Stila, Kevyn Aucoin Beauty and E! Entertainment. He has photographed some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, Annie Lennox, and Christina Aguilera. However his painting always remained his passion and dearest to his heart through his artistic career. Kevin's life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013 unable to work and facing both personal and financial ruin he underwent a period of tremendous hardship and personal transformation through which he discovered a renewed passion for painting. His works became the centerpieces of his healing process and Kevin put love, light, will to live and hope for a better life into them. His signature HEES mark, the circle with 12 marks and three lines of 7 marks representing time, energy, sight, sound and physicality, symbolize the ingredients for life... the ingredients for art. HEES is a full-time artist who’s positive messaging and unique painting techniques have propelled him onto the international art scene. Bought by several major collectors across the world. He finds himself inundated with demand with his first exhibition, taking place in Paris titled Paris 2020 and exhibitions planned in Palm Beach, New York and Los Angeles. In 2020 he appeared in two shows at Wynn Fine Art in Palm Beach and contributed to the Norton museum with Sotheby's 80th Annual Charity Auction. HEES completed his first major exhibition MUSIC in 2021 and his first NFT’S which were exhibited at the Bechtler museum and went on to auction at Amfar in 2022. In 2023 HEES completed his first mural H U M A N and exhibited his first solo show “EVOLVE”. 2024 saw HEES show at Art Miami for the first time and the LDV project in Los Angeles. He has just completed his first HEES ART HAUS. HEES early works are already seeing resale value.
