Color Map 57 is part of a series of abstract maps of gardens, pools and driveways in Southern California. I walk through different neighborhoods and take photos and make sketches that turn the actually route or front yard or driveway into an abstract painting. The painting is a mix of acrylic and enamel and is on an unstreched canvas that can easily be hung using push pins, magnets or framed.
