“It was a comet. The boy saw the comet and he felt as though his life had meaning. And when it went away, he waited his entire life for it to come back to him. It was more than just a comet because of what it brought to his life: direction, beauty, meaning. There are many who couldn't understand, and sometimes he walked among them. But even in his darkest hours, he knew in his heart that someday it would return to him, and his world would be whole again... And his belief in God and love and art would be re-awakened in his heart. The boy saw the comet and suddenly his life had meaning.” ― Lucas Scott This artwork belongs to my "Cosmos" collection. This series of art pieces were created under the impression of a science documentary TV-series “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey”. All incredible views of our and other galaxies that were shown during 13 episodes captured my imagination and made me dream of all those celestial bodies. Then I found myself in the process of creation smth similar to alcohol inks on black plastic. I was truly amazed by what I painted. Everything and everyone is a piece of our multiverse and we ourselves are the universe for what is inside of us.

Hi, my name is Polina Vigandt! I was born in Siberia and I had 9 years of art school education. Honestly, I was more into communication and creation, than into drawing. After finishing art school, I haven’t painted for 10 years. Just haven’t seen any reason for it, all the specific images like portraits, still life and so on were not inspirational for me. Until I met alcohol ink technique 1,5 years ago, when I became smm-manager of an art school in Saint-Petersburg. That is where my passion for fluid techniques arose. Since then I spill out all the images, feelings, emotions in my head on the white list and I’m not afraid to do it, as abstract art has no limits, no laws and structure. >> I’m the Creator, I’m the Manifestor (actually it’s really true by my human design profile). >> I’m a teacher, during last year I had about 20 workshops in alcohol ink technique, in which I taught how to draw about 50 people. >> I’m the ambassador and content creator for the russian brand of art material producers for fluid techniques (resin and alcohol inks art) Craftsmen Store. >> I released a limited collection of coffee bean packs with my fluid paintings printed on them. That was such a pleasure as finally my art and my coffee business met each other in one form (I run my own coffeeshop and we have our own coffee roasters brand). >> My abstract works are presented in our coffee and flower space, so many of our regular guests have a piece of my art at home. What about now and why I am here? I really feel like I want to grow internationally, open my art for the world and have no limits in expansion.
