Comet Painting

Beggining his artistic studies in illustration, Thibault Delbrouck has soon realized that what he really wanted was the painting. He loves the relation that a painter can have with the brush and the canvas, with the color and the matter. Life in the workspace in paint-stained clothes . After being graduated in painting in Fine Arts in Liege (Belgium) he has decided going out to live in Spain, in the mountains of the South Madrid where he boots his inspiration. "What I live in everyday life is my inspiration. Moments of brief, like a bird that flies or a sun ray on the wall. Moments of contemplation and observation of the nature. I live in the mountain in Spain and the nature arround amazes me. So I transmit in my painting the sensation i feel in these moments of everyday life. The nightingale song at midnight, go out in the black with the silence to listen his music create the echo through the mountains. Waking up and feeling the heat of the day that arrives sweetly, close the eyes and breath the trees. Eating an orange freshly gathered in the burning sun. Looking the rain falling on the palm leaves. My art is my way of life and my painting is the testimony of my life."
