"Composition 2" Painting

Buse Aydoğdu is contemporary painter whose practice focuses on nature through color, surface research, and visual expression. She holds a BFA in Painting from Süleyman Demirel University, where she is currently pursuing her thesis Master of Fine Arts (MFA). Her distinct work was recognized with the Exhibition Award at the 11th Contemporary Art Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, and her paintings are held in private collections. Working primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, she reinterprets natural forms through her own visual language, using color to reshape how we experience the visual world. Alongside her traditional painting, and connected to her ongoing graduate research, she creates experimental works by integrating unconventional materials such as zippers, abaca fiber, cotton, fabric, and texture gels. By balancing pure painting with material exploration, she actively expands the tactile and expressive boundaries of her art.
