About The Artwork
This painting starts with my own handwriting. I use it to write down my deepest darkest confessions, things that I don't necessarily want to share with the entire world. But by writing them down and subsequently layering them with paint, I am able to release some of those thoughts I tend to keep inside. But, at the same time they remain private because they are blocked by the opaque shapes and forms. My own version of therapy.
