These days things are changing unexpectedly especially these hard times were many things are now far different from the norm it's difficult to face the hardships of reality as it seems to be to us like we are in a simulation or been control by new reality especially to the young people of this generation, how do we cope to the changes of life becomes a great challenge to us, i guess it is now adaptation of survival as this has now lead many into different crimes like drugs taking, stealing, fraud, prostitution etc. This is because these days many of us sees life as a competition trying to meet trends "yes it is! But the only way out of these changes before us is to maintain the standard rules and laws of life,nature and the society. This painting titled CONFORMITY shows a young female who is in a state of dilemma whether to conform with the real standards of life with all the difficulties to succeed rather than facing the menace trending compitative and corrupt ways of life of this new ways of living. This painting is inspire to address the state of mind of this young generation to face life as normal as the road to success is not by crimes but by struggles and hard works.

Artist profile: INIOVORUA PIUS OWHORHO is a contemporary multimedia artist who hails from Delta State of Nigeria. He started drawing at a very tender age and had his Primary and Secondary School Education in Benin city, after which he proceeded to Auchi Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State. were he bagged his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in General Art in 2018 and Higher National Diploma (HND) 2022 as a Painter in the Department of Painting Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi Edo state, Nigeria. he is inspired by Mr kent Onah (painter) and Dr Suleman Dauda (painter) two painters who uses unconventional ways to explore their works, Pius uses his art as a messenger or a message to talk about human moods, emotions, cultural and human indentities, the situations in the societies and human values. his expression with acrylic paintings stands out amongst other media he uses, his early experience helped him to develop his talent of pencil,pen,oil, pastel and water colour these are the basis of his acrylic paintings which illuminates the essence of human existence to it socialisation. He has exhibited in both group and joint exhibitions amongst the exhibition are: "Life in My City 2018", The "Effects of Covid-19 on Artworks 2021" Auchi Polytechnic Levi unit(ii) 2022 Abuja, and one international Exhibition "The contemporaneous of the sacred 2022" in Basilica Rome.
