Conjuring Rain No.5 Painting

Hiking in the foothills above my Santa Barbara home, a parched, drought stricken land, where clouds gather but no rain falls. I wished that I could "Conjure rain" nourish this land. Climate change hit home during our 7 years of drought, and counting. I spilled liquid acrylic inks onto Stonehenge rag paper, and created "cloudscapes" I work on the floor, from all four sides of a piece, and allow the flow of materials help inform my final compositions. This is one of a series of six such paintings.
