ABOUT THE ARTWORK
'Containership - Setting Sail' is painted using acrylic and touches of pastel on primed artist cotton canvas. Using a variety of natural brushes and knife strokes this artwork is more abstract that realist, combining rough brush strokes. It is part of the Containership Series comprising of seven containership artworks since 2015. The work is sealed with three coats of professional UV satin varnish to seal and protect the colours. The painting does not need framing and is supplied with hooks installed ready to be hung. Alternatively it can be removed from the frame and rolled to keep shipping costs down.
