Contact us.Alina O’Dwyer is a contemporary visual artist based in Dubai, UAE.
Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting and collage, with a primary focus on acrylic as a material for exploring texture and expressive form. O’Dwyer’s visual language operates at the intersection of figuration and abstraction.
Central to her work is an ongoing investigation into the relationship between wild nature and human identity. Drawing on both symbolic and psychological frameworks, her practice reflects a sustained interest in instinct, the subconscious, and the fragile boundary between the natural and the constructed world.
O’Dwyer holds a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (2007). Her academic background informs her conceptual approach, particularly in relation to archetypal imagery and human behavior. She has further developed her artistic practice through studies at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and the Moscow School of Contemporary Art.
