It's fascinating to follow unusual ideas and see where they lead you. In my case, I found the coral reef to be the perfect backdrop for my imagination to run wild and showcase my personal vision of the world. Some may question the need to rearrange nature itself, and that's a valid point. But for me, it was about reimagining things to capture the human and personal essence of mind games. ✔ The painting is signed on the front and back. It is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with finished black edges and comes ready to hang. "Coral Reef" was created between December 2023 and March 2024 at the Otherworldly Dream Studio in Jerusalem. About the series "Silence Returns": Embark on a transformative visual journey that will challenge your perception of eternity. This series is meant for those who seek the mysteries of symbolism, the power of silence, and the transcendent experience of mystical wandering. As you journey through this path, you may feel a sense of detachment from your social identity, but this is necessary to fully connect with the natural world and become a person of the Earth. Although the transformation may be difficult and painful, it is a profound rebirth that will forever alter your perspective and way of life upon your return to the mundane world.

STATEMENT: Alexey Adonin is an artist whose work invites viewers into a profound dialogue between abstraction and surrealism. By merging these two potent artistic languages, he creates visual narratives that transcend the boundaries of personal vision, encouraging the audience to construct their own interpretations. His art goes beyond the passive act of viewing—it seeks to engage the viewer emotionally and intellectually, fostering a shared creative experience. With a deep reverence for the creative process, Alexey embraces spontaneity and unpredictability. His approach to art is free from rigid preconceptions or constraints, allowing intuition and imagination to guide each brushstroke. Through this process, he uncovers patterns in randomness, revealing order within chaos and lending his work a dynamic, organic quality. Alexey’s ultimate aim is to transcend the mere replication of reality, creating an evocative world that mirrors his innermost thoughts and emotions. By continually pushing the boundaries of artistic expression, he not only explores new creative horizons for himself but also encourages his audience to unlock their own creativity and potential as artists and human beings. His work stands as an invitation to explore the rich terrain of imagination and possibility. BIO: Alexey Adonin is a Belarus-born, Israel-based artist whose work embodies a fusion of abstract surrealism, influenced by his diverse intellectual and creative background. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the arts—his father, Alexander Adonin, is a respected art teacher, painter, and musician, while his mother, Svetlana, is a building engineer—Alexey’s artistic path began at the age of nine under his father’s mentorship at a local art school. By 15, Alexey had secured a place at Glebov Art College in Minsk, where he further honed his skills and explored a variety of artistic styles. His formative years were enriched by a fascination with science fiction literature, history, biology, paleontology, geography, and astronomy, all of which became touchstones in his artistic practice. These early influences shaped a vision that grapples with the complexities of modern life, tempered by a deep respect for nature and a focus on positivity. In the early 1990s, Alexey and his family moved to Israel, where he continued to evolve as an artist, integrating his experiences into his work.
