ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Photo realism on black velvet is what I have been working on for the past 17 years. One of my clients requested an abstract painting on white velvet and I accepted the challenge. It was so exciting to create something completely opposite of my life's work that I am continuing to explore this style. I really enjoy expressing emotions through brush strokes, splatters and drips. This particular painting is a collaboration with my artist partner, Chris Alley. I hope the viewer will enjoy viewing this painting while imagining familiar shapes and evoking emotions.
