When I think about equality, I think first of all about the relationship between partners. How would humanity life look like if men could become pregnant and give birth? I'm sure it would be a completely different society. At least more empathic and equal. I am a painter. And in my life now an important act of creativity is happening - pregnancy. For almost 9 months now I have been creating a huge project about how my mind and body are changing. I write a detailed diary and take a huge amount of photos. Based on this materials, I create a whole series of paintings. At the moment, the main media I use are oil and canvas. And to create textures and special expressiveness, I add a touch of oil pastels and pencils. My style is based on 20th century painting with its bright palette, as well as the discoveries of the cubists. I am captivated by the idea of depicting an object from different sides at the same time, however, I paint these sides, taking into account the changes that occur to my model over time. For many years I have been exploring in my art how the human body changes throughout life. How our feelings and experiences, social norms, standards and of course time are reflected on faces and bodies. Through bodies and faces I learn stories. And it pains me to see the dire consequences for women in codependent, unhealthy relationships. Or how harmonious deep relationships can fill us with vitality, even rejuvenate. The choice of how to build our life is ours, meanwhile art always keeps bringing up more questions...

I was born in Belarus, however, now I live and work in Spain. I am a figurative artist and from a technical point of view, I have gone from subject painting to the revised ideas of cubism and expressionism. The main theme of my artistic research is transformations and changes in our bodies and mind. I use the main principle of the cubists - to depict an object simultaneously from each side, however, I apply it not to the object of the image, but to time. I am fascinated by the constant change as the basis of our life. To convey the sensual side, I prefer to work with a complex color palette of oil paints, colored pencils, and wax crayons. For the last five years, I have been exploring in my paintings the various processes that affect our bodies. I am interested in the problems of acceptance or rejection of age-related changes, the problems of social taboos, and the framework imposed by society and forcing many women not to accept their bodies. I care about how our worldview, deep feelings, and life experience are reflected on our faces and bodies. My art is about discovering unconventional beauty and accepting and working through change and finding joy at the moment. I am convinced that we come into this world to change and encourage our viewers to enjoy this process. We lose and find ourselves, we change but somehow stay the same person, we age but come alive. We are a process and not a frozen, still pretty picture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMbxo6e1cIs
