I did this painting on the day that Melbourne, Australia recorded a total of 723 cases of Coronavirus in one day. I started this painting using a variety of fabric patterns and then added found objects, spray painted, images from printed media and used a variety of painting techniques. The image of a warrior came to mind as the city was look for something or someone to fight this terrible virus and so Covid Warrior was born.
