Taylor Overbey is a multifaceted creative professional known for his work as an artist, writer, and educator. He currently serves as a professor in the Foundations Department at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia, where he brings his extensive experience in the arts to the classroom. Overbey holds a Master of Fine Arts in Fine Arts Painting and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media from Ferris State University, reflecting his strong academic grounding in both traditional and modern artistic practices. Before joining SCAD, he held significant roles such as Program Coordinator for Digital Media Design and Department Chair for Fine Arts at South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette, Louisiana, and has also taught at Kendall College of Art and Design and ITT Technical Institute.
