About The Artwork
In 1927, an German, Julius Schiller published a star atlas which replaced each pattern of Ptolemaic constellations with a saint or a angel of Christianity. The motif of this work is one of the constellations in the star atlas. This solid expression like an objet is represented as a weathered painting on a bedrock, and I hope that it makes you feel time and history. This work is painted on a styrene foam panel, and the size of the panel is 28.0 x 33.5 cm. Also this work has a frame, and the dimension above is the size of the frame.
