It was very difficult to shoot this with color accuracy, mostly due to the narrow range of contrasts. Please keep this in mind when viewing your monitor and adjust your monitor settings to capture a range of possible colors. The closeups appear more representative, perhaps due to the isolation and magnification. The painting is part of my lines series, experimenting with pattern and turbulence, while trying to capture the feeling of the air, earth, and water.
