Ira Popovych (Iryna Popovych-Babiuk), 38 y.o, was born and lives in Ukraine, the city of Chernivtsi. While studying at the Faculty of Design and the Faculty of Pedagogy, she researched the integration of psychology in design and visual arts. She worked as a graphic designer and an interior designer. in 2018 started the first watercolor art studio in the city, where she teached painting and graphics, and also worked as a volunteer art therapist. Ira travels a lot, creating atmospheric landscapes of natere and architecture and many sketches from different countries. With the attack of Russian troops on Ukraine, there is a turning point in the artist's work. Her works acquire an expressive conceptual character, and the plots - patriotic meanings. Ira popovych is an active participant in international exhibitions and projects. She has participated in the exhibitions in Ukraine, Germany, greece, pakistan, poland. Her artworks are currently being exhibited in galleries in lviv and odesa, Ukraine
